Lorsban 15G and Callisto Herbicide June 28, 2002 In issue no. 11 (June 7, 2002) of the Bulletin, I included a brief article regarding a "Callisto advisory," issued by Syngenta Crop Protection. It has come to my attention that Dow AgroSciences has issued a FIFRA Section 2(ee) label for Lorsban 15G that states: "Soil applied Lorsban 15G granular insecticide as a T-band application may be followed by post-applied herbicides such as Callisto herbicide." I thought that you should be aware that there are two sides to the story regarding the interaction between Callisto herbicide and soil-applied insecticides.--Kevin Steffey Author: Kevin Steffey
